Content Repurposing

What is Content Repurposing?

The strategic practice of transforming a single piece of content into multiple formats and channels to maximize reach and return on creative investment. A conference talk becomes a blog post, a carousel, a newsletter issue, and a video clip, each adapted to the native format and audience of its platform.

My perspective

In practice

The smartest content strategy for independent consultants and small teams. Instead of creating new content for every channel, build a "content engine" where each original asset systematically feeds downstream formats. AI tools have made repurposing much faster, but the strategic layer (knowing which formats serve which goals) remains a human judgment call.
