Using data as a key input to decisions, alongside experience, judgment, and context, rather than relying solely on intuition or authority. Note: "data-informed" (not "data-driven") preserves the human role in interpreting and acting on evidence.

The goal is not to replace human judgment but to make it sharper. Combining qualitative insights (customer conversations, team observations) with quantitative signals (metrics, experiments) leads to better decisions than either approach alone.
