Objectives and Key Results: a goal-setting framework that aligns teams around ambitious objectives (qualitative) measured by specific key results (quantitative). Popularized by Andy Grove at Intel and later by Google.

Used to create alignment and focus. The objective answers "where do we want to go?" while key results answer "how will we know we're getting there?"
