What is Feedback Loop?
A process where the outputs of a system are used as inputs to that same system, creating a self-correcting or self-reinforcing cycle. In team contexts, feedback loops are the mechanisms by which teams learn from their actions and adjust course.
My perspective
In practice
Short, frequent feedback loops are how teams actually get better. Retrospectives, daily standups, CI/CD pipelines, and A/B tests are all feedback loops. The goal is always to shorten the loop: learn faster, adjust sooner.
