What is Agentic AI?
AI systems that can autonomously plan, execute multi-step tasks, use tools, and adapt their approach based on intermediate results, moving beyond single-prompt chat interactions into genuine workflow automation. Agentic AI can browse the web, write and run code, manage files, and orchestrate other AI models to accomplish complex goals.
My perspective
In practice
Think of it as moving from "AI as a chatbot" to "AI as a colleague." Agentic systems are already coding, researching, and managing workflows with minimal human oversight. The key challenge is trust calibration: knowing when to let an agent run autonomously and when to keep a human in the loop.
